Appalachian Adventure
Guided by experienced Mountain Institute staff, students
will learn navigation and survival skills, hike in the
Monongahela National Forest and nearby wilderness
areas, explore a natural cave system, learn about
streams, and study the unique creatures encountered
along the way. |

Folk Arts for Kids
offers a variety of fun and
unique arts activities for girls and boys ages 8 to 12.
Themes vary,
but a typical week
includes a
daily schedule
of crafts, dance,
games, and other physical activities, plus at least
an hour a day of music, such as “Finding Your Instrument” or
singing. |

- Connecting Generations thru
Music, Crafts, Dance, and Song
This intergenerational theme week will give students
hands-on instruction in many traditional art forms
offered at Augusta including music, singing, dancing
and a wide variety of crafts.
