Welcome to the swing mandolin class at Augusta.

We will study the structure of ten songs, and will include some of the "jam tunes" (send an email to wendibourne@comcast.net if you would like to receive a list of the jam tunes when they become available sometime in June). These songs will include swing standards, western swing instrumentals and Latin melodies. 

The songs will be in different keys and tempos and we'll work on techniques for soloing and accompaniment in a swing ensemble.  And we'll have fun doing it!   I don't have an email address, but if you have questions about the class, please e-mail them to Swing Week Coordinator, Wendi Bourne at swing@augustaheritage.com  and she will contact me and get back to you.  See you there!
