Singing a Country Song

This mini class will meet 4 evenings after dinner to learn the style involved in singing soulful country songs with heart and commitment.  It is attached to Cajun/Creole Week because of the connection between Cajun and Country music, particularly the way the singing is done.  Working with me will be Courtney Granger from Eunice, Louisiana.  It would be helpful if students would arrive having listening to a lot of George Jones, Merle Haggard, Kitty Wells, and Loretta Lynn recordings.  Beginners are welcome.  You may make audio recordings for your own use.  Lyrics will be provided.
