Hello students of the majestic, magnificent 88's.

In my class we'll cover various blues forms and the many elements
which make blues the varied and soulful music we love.
 
Among other things, we'll cover left hand grooves, right hand
licks and tricks, turn arounds, soloing and rhythms.  We'll
learn quite a few blues songs to illustrate these elements.  Some
familiar standards, some less well known.

For my class you REALLY need to bring a tape recorder.  I will
supply you with chord charts for the songs but I neither read nor
write music so you REALLY need to record my class. 

Also bring a long extension cord and/or batteries and a good
supply of tapes.

I highly recommend that if you can you bring your own keyboard.
This will allow you more flexibility in class and in practice and
jamming.

Get plenty of rest before you come.  You won't get any here.
