This class will focus mainly (but not exclusively) on bowing and learning tunes for solo fiddling.  You will learn tunes in order to illustrate the bow licks and patterns.  Since we will be using tunes that are good for solo fiddling some of the tunes will be in different tunings.  You will also learn some bluesy tunes towards the end of the week if time permits.  I don’t use notation of any sort, so a recording device is recommended.
