Mini-Class
Sound Systems for Acoustic Musicians

This "hands-on" workshop for up to 20
people will let participants experiment with instrument and
vocal miking, feedback prevention in amplified situations,
indoor and outdoor PA system setup, and basic recording
techniques for live performances. It will also include
discussions and demonstrations of the basics of microphones
and sound reinforcement systems. There will be chances on
Tuesday and Thursday evenings to observe sound checks for the
Augusta concerts.
No prior experience is required, but the class' focus will be
adjusted to suit the experience level and interests of the
students.
