Mary will bring some great blues and ragtime gems to the plate, some from 
the recordings of Rev. Gary Davis, Willie McTell, Memphis Minnie. All tunes 
will require basic fingerpicking skills (no flatpicks, please!) where syncopation 
abounds and the thumb rules. 

Students will learn pieces in different keys and in some cases, different tunings. 
Recording devices encouraged and tab handouts available. Tab reading skills are 
very helpful!
