Stonemasonry

Learn about stonemasonry from the ground up. Basic techniques of mixing mortar and applying stone to a wall, dry stacking, stone selection, finishing joints, cap stones, and safety will be addressed. This is a hands-on, physically demanding class. Class time will be spent actually working on a project. Students will have opportunities to consult individually about specific jobs.
