Herbs

This energetic but minimal-impact, conservation-oriented class explores the
wild and tame plants of the woodlands, roadside, riverbed, yard, and garden.
Field trips may range from just outside the classroom to the wilds of nearby
Dolly Sods. Participants will prepare and take home liqueurs, vinegars, salves,
lotions, creams, tinctures, potpourris, and more, all made with organically
grown or judiciously collected herbs. There will be one lunch and dinner, and a
daily tea break and snack, all featuring herbs. Supplies are around $55.
