Emily Eagen lived in the Netherlands where she spent five years performing, studying, and teaching before recently moving to New York City. A specialist in both early and contemporary music, she likes to find and stretch the boundaries between those more formal music forms and traditional folk music. Her whistling abilities are well known at Augusta. She teaches and performs Medieval, Renaissance, and Baroque music at early music venues.
