Laoise Kelly

Laoise Kelly grew up on the coastal town of County Mayo. Initially taking up the piano, she soon mastered the tin whistle. She learned from piping legend, Rory Sommers, and from multi-instrumentalist John Hoban, who introduced her to the fiddle, banjo, whistle and mandola. She is known for her stirring slow airs.
