Yvonne & Liz Kane, sisters from the West coast of Ireland, create a vibrant sound together. Their grandfather, fiddler Jimmy Mullen, has been a leading figure on the traditional music scene in Connemara for over 50 years. Their style is influenced by South Sligo fiddling, the East Galway tradition and the fiddling of Paddy Fahey. Liz studied music at University College and Yvonne moved to Galway to play music fulltime. Having toured all over the world, they have ten recordings to their credit.
