Donny Golden was born of Irish parents in Brooklyn, New York, and became a North-American step dancing champion as a child. During his brilliant dance career, he has trained over a thousand students, many of whom have gone on to become National and World Champions. He is a National Heritage Fellow and regularly performs with The Chieftains and Cherish the Ladies.
