Lisa Reed was raised in Scott, Louisiana, and comes from a distinguished family that has long championed French culture and music.  She performs with the Magnolia Sisters and with her father, Harry Trahan.  In addition to bass, Lisa plays guitar, triangle and rub board.  Students must bring an electric bass and, if possible, a small practice amp.
