Spinning and Natural Dyeing
Susan Elkin

Susan Elkin raises her own flax, angora rabbits, and prize-winning sheep near Morgantown, West Virginia. For over 20 years she has conducted spinning and natural dyeing workshops on her farm and throughout the region. She has taught hundreds of students the process of washing, carding, combing, spinning and dyeing wool, mohair, flax, and other natural fibers. In addition to spinning, she collects antique wheels and is an accomplished potter.
