Janet Beazley

A fine lead and harmony singer, Janet Beazley is also an accomplished banjo player, choral teacher and songwriter. She has taught banjo, harmony vocals, and music theory classes at the British Columbia Bluegrass Workshops and also taught at the American Banjo Camp, the California Bluegrass Association Bluegrass Week and the Sorefingers camp in the UK. She was recently featured in Banjo Newsletter and holds a doctorate in early music and teaches at the University of Southern California. Her banjo playing sparkles on several recordings by Chris Stuart & Backcountry. Janet's solo album, 5 South, stayed on the Bluegrass Unlimited chart for a whole year.    www.chrisstuart.com
